Gadani ship-recycling yard is the world’s third-largest ship recycling yard. The yard consists of 120 ship-recycling plots out of which about 100 are active, located across a 10 km long beachfront at Gadani, Pakistan, about 50 kilometers northwest of Karachi.

Advantages:

  • No Beaching tides. Ships can be beached as and when ready.
  • Primary market for Tankers of all sizes.
  • Minimal local inward formalities.
  • Some yards have ISO 30000.
